Concrete slab, closet organizer, fence latch, & ripped out hallway closet

Lots of work was taking place at Project Hillside in April and going into early May. Some of the major projects included completing the closet organizer in the upstairs bedroom, ripping out the old hallway closet that will be replaced in the near future, pouring the concrete slab for the hot tub, and building a latch for the fence. Things are making progress, slowly, but surely.

Knocking shelves down and canes fell on my head!

Hallway Closet
We wanted to remove this closer to open the hallway up a little and replace it with something a little nicer that will go well with the house. Working is slowly starting to creep upstairs!!

Concrete Slab for the Hot Tub

Fence Latch
High winds this past weekend led me to build a new design for the latch. You probably can't tell but I drilled 8 inches into a small concrete slab under the gate opening, put a 1 inch diameter steel pipe in, and the latch on the bottom goes into it. Hopefully this will hold!
